Almost ready

Less than 24 hours before we'll be flying out to Calgary. I have a lot of stuff to take care of today: haircut, laundry, packing, etc. I managed to book a limo to the airport for tomorrow morning for only $34, which is great because I'm splitting it with Dahil. I called the hotel to confirm our reservation, and that we can leave our bags there in the morning prior to the afternoon check-in. Also called WestJet and confirmed the flight and was informed of the cool check-in process. Apparently they have check-in kiosks that allow you to enter your confirmation number, check yourself in, and even do seat selection yourself !

As for our plans once we get there, we're kinda winging that part. I guess we'll figure it all out then.

you do the seat selection on the day of? that's crazy.

With Zip I chose the seats when i bought the ticket.

and why are you taking a limo?

If I remember correctly, you also paid more for your flight !

The limo is about the same price as a cab, and splitting it is going to cost us under $20 each.

yeah, but then the temptation to go to the airport really early is there....if you want to make sure you get a good seat...

i'm not adverse to you taking a cab to the airport for $34 (plus tip, remember). but at some point you must have wanted to take a limo, anyway, so you investigated the cost.

Actually, the GTAA has a map of fare zones for taxis and limos. It was on that map I noticed that the average limo fare from where I live was $3 more than the taxi fare. Then I started looking for limo places to get a quote. I found www.airportservice.com which is where I got the quotes and ultimately booked the cheapest limo.

If it were a stretch, I would have said so. How much do you think I make ?
