I’m still a kid
I confirmed it today, I’m still a kid. Made a trip to Toys R Us and picked up a new RC helicopter. I felt like a little kid buying it, and opening up the package when I got home. I bought the Air Hogs Reflex Helicopter. I gave it a try when I got home, but it is going to take some getting used to. It’s a good thing that it is durable, because I have crashed it into almost every inanimate and animate object in my place.

This is what you get for parking under an angry tree! Saw this when I was going to pickup my zipcar today. I guess the wind warnings on the weather channel were true!
Things to do when you can’t sleep
How about play UNO on your iPhone in bed, and then blog about it. Yeah that’s what I’m doing at almost 3am!
A Christmas Treat
One of my gifts from my awesome girlfriend ended up being a bottle of Cabo Wabo Tequila. I swore off tequila for a long time, until I was re-introduced to the good stuff and told I should be sipping it. I now enjoy sipping good tequila, instead of shooting the cheap stuff. Here is a shot of the newest edition to my liquor cabinet:

Holiday Greeting
Thought this was pretty funny and decided to share it. This is a holiday greeting from Jon Lajoie, a pretty funny comedian. He’s got quite a few videos on YouTube, most notably Everyday Normal Guy, which was the first one I saw.
Anyway, here is the holiday greeting video:
Mike’s Christmas Latte
After trying a Starbucks Eggnog Latte, I was sadly disappointed. It just seemed like a cup of warm, watery eggnog. It didn’t taste like coffee at all, even though I am assured it did have a shot of espresso in it.
I couldn’t help but think that I could do it better, and decided to give it a try. I used two shots of espresso, heated up some eggnog for 30 seconds in the microwave, frothed it with steam, then whipped it with an electric whisk. I put the two shots of espresso in the mug first, poured in the frothed eggnog, then spooned the frothed eggnog foam on top. I topped the foam with some cinnamon, and it was done. I have to admit, it turned out amazing.
